Navigating the Maze of Psychological + Brain Injuries
Webinar
December 2, 2020
Claims of psychological injury have increased significantly since the advent of the Minor Injury Regulation. Such problems can range from adjustment disorder and depression to post-concussion syndrome and PTSD. Such injuries are particularly difficult to assess from an insurance perspective, and particularly difficult to defend given their subjective symptoms.
Join us while Dr. Norman Brodie explains these conditions from a neuropsychological perspective, and Brian Filips and Katherine Fu from Field Law provide a legal perspective on the damages commanded by these claims, what proof is needed, and how you build a defence against subjective psychological complaints.
Who should attend? The presentation will be of interest for those assessing personal injury claims, particularly with claims of psychological or brain injuries.
