Katherine Fu is a lawyer with a civil litigation practice, focusing in the area of insurance law. Her practice includes matters involving coverage, defence and subrogated actions for property and injury matters.

Katherine joined Field Law as a summer student in 2017, returned as an articling student in 2019. Katherine was called to the Alberta Bar in August 2020. During law school, Katherine volunteered with Student Legal Services in both the Criminal Law and Civil Law Projects. Katherine competed in the Fox Intellectual Property Moot in 2018 and was a member of the Swift Justice hockey team. In her final year of law school, Katherine went on exchange to Utrecht University in the Netherlands, where she studied public international law.

Katherine enjoys travelling, hiking, playing board games, and trying new restaurants.
