This role plays a big part in assisting professionals in their day-to-day work. The role will require client service, both internal and external; preparation of many types of legal documentation; overseeing the smooth flow of physical procedures within the Yellowknife office.

Duties + Responsibilities
- Preparing commercial or other legal documents for the Partner’s signature
- Preparing commercial or other legal documents for client signature
- Preparing board room for client meetings
- Welcoming clients for client meetings
- Assisting Legal Assistants with physical files or paper prep for the Partner.
- Preparing court and land title’s packages per instructions provided by Alberta offices or the Yellowknife Partner
- Performing daily rounds
- Filing non-accounting documents to the commercial filing cabinets
- Managing incoming and outgoing internal mail
- Distributing incoming internal mail
- Logging, scanning, and reporting mail that has been asked to remain in the Yellowknife office
- Preparing outgoing mail packages via courier when necessary
- Working with Edmonton Office Services on general office inventory and functioning
- Coordinating with Edmonton Office Services/Helpdesk to troubleshoot any technical office issues
Qualifications + Skills
- High school diploma
- Experience working in a law firm or a similar professional setting
- Advanced computer skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent follow-up and bring-forward skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize effectively and handle high pressure deadlines
Working Conditions
