As proof-of-vaccination policies lift in businesses and other indoor settings, many employers may be wondering how to justify their recently-implemented vaccination policies following the conclusion of provincial and municipal pandemic-related mandates. As both vaccinated and unvaccinated employees begin to return to the workplace, employers need to prepare for yet another range of unfamiliar problems, including:
- How long can/should a vaccination policy remain in effect?
- Is it still reasonable for employers to collect vaccination information?
- How can employers best manage the return to work of unvaccinated workers?
- How should employers accommodate requests to continue remote work?
