On September 13 we will discuss strategies and practices for condominiums seeking accessibility and inclusivity for their residents, including those with disabilities.

Field Law's Frank Molnar, KC successfully represented an employer in opposing an application for a streamlined trial – the first reported decision considering the new streamlined trial rules.

The dispute centred around an employee that commenced an action against their former employer for wrongful dismissal. The employee applied for a streamlined trial under the new rules, which offers a faster alternative to full trials.

The Court emphasized that a streamlined trial must be necessary and proportionate, failing which, the default is a normal trial process.

The Field Law Community Fund Program will be back in September!
