We have been involved in a broad spectrum of innovative projects including zero lot line developments, private ownership of roads and amenities utilizing resident associations and master-planned communities bringing character and value to thousands of home buyers in Alberta. We have also acted for the owners of shopping centres and office buildings as well as integrated multi-use downtown projects. In all matters, we are committed to delivering the highest level of expertise, combined with the service and responsiveness to meet and exceed our clients' expectations.

We provide legal services in all aspects of land development law including:

  • Purchase and sale of all varieties of land from suburban and farm land to downtown land assemblies;
  • Negotiation and finalization of subdivision, development and other agreements with municipal authorities;
  • Representation before subdivision and development appeal boards and other planning boards and tribunals;
  • Preparing all manner of easements, rights of way, restrictive covenants, building schemes and joint use agreements;
