Graham Martinelli is a Calgary-based lawyer practicing primarily in the areas of litigation and insurance with a focus on commercial leasing litigation and insurance defense litigation.

As an experienced insurance lawyer, Graham works with complex matters in insurance defense litigation on behalf of insurance companies and personal injury defense. Clients look to Graham to provide a full picture view using a top-down mentality that allows him to gain a thorough understanding of the client’s issue and provide customized, and effective solutions.

His litigation practice is focused on commercial litigation, including contract disputes and unpaid invoice claims. His clients range in size and industry type from small single person business to large national and internationally based corporations.

Graham works with industrial landlords on contracts and lease enforcement work. When a tenant tries to leave a lease without following up to the terms (early departures, unpaid rent, etc.), Graham steps in to help the landlord get back the money that they are owed. He is well-versed in the intricacies of lease agreements and possesses the necessary skills to protect his clients' interests in the most efficient and effective manner.

Graham is a certified RPAs Operator and enjoys recreational drone photography and videography. This experience gives him invaluable knowledge in dealing with dispute resolution issues in this emerging area of law. He has a strong grasp of technology that allows him to guide his clients seamlessly through data breaches and patent lawsuits.

Value to Clients

“I’m always ready to focus on a solution that brings expedient resolutions. Whether I’m working on behalf of an individual or a business, I know that every client requires an approach tailored to their specific strengths and needs”.

Outside the Office

When Graham is not in the office assisting clients, his deep love of and appreciation for music keeps him busy. Whether he’s perfecting his guitar-playing skills or trying out a new instrument, music offers him inspiration and a reprieve from his busy day. Other than music, Graham also enjoys never ending home improvement projects and spending time with his family.
