Jeremy Taylor is a partner in our Edmonton office. He practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and labour/employment law.

Mr. Taylor’s civil litigation practice focuses primarily on corporate and commercial disputes, construction lawsuits, police services defence, and product liability defence. Jeremy has argued cases in all levels of court in Alberta, in the Supreme Court of Canada, in the Provincial Court of British Columbia, in commercial and labour arbitrations, and before the Alberta Law Enforcement Review Board. He has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, and represented clients in Information and Privacy Commission proceedings. He represents major public institutions, professional associations, Metis Settlements, and corporations and other business entities, as well as individual corporate officers, shareholders, and other business owners.

Mr. Taylor is a sessional instructor in Labour Law at the University of Alberta law school. He has written articles on legal topics, been published in an academic journal, and has presented on various academic and practical topics. He is presently the Co-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association - Constitutional Law and Civil Liberties subsection (Alberta Branch - North).

Mr. Taylor received his B.A. from Simon Fraser University in 1998, his J.D. from the University of British Columbia in 2001, and his LL.M. (Master of Laws) degree from Dalhousie University in 2006, with a focus in civil litigation and constitutional law. He was called to the Alberta Bar in 2002.
